Standard Definition is a television system which is not
considered to be either high resolution or enhanced-definition television; WVGA
(848x480)
High Definition is a high degree of detail in an image or
screen; 1080p (1920x1080)
Four K is labelled 4K because a 4K TV carries almost 4K
pixels; it actually carries 3840 pixels but they obviously rounded up to 4K.
There are many limitations for resolution such as:
·
File Size
·
The Camera For Filming
·
The Software For Editing
·
The Display Technology
People do not generally film everything in 4K because the
file size compared to 1080p is huge, 4K cameras are generally expensive, some
software do not accept 4K resolution when editing and to actually view 4K you
would need a 4K monitor or TV, which do not come cheap.
