Proposal

     I have been asked to redesign the ENSFC website to make it more relatable to people of our age group which is 15-17. I intend to create a more age appropriate website which is less for parents and more for the youth as they are the ones who have to decide whether they want to go to the college or
     The original website was not overly awful however it was not for young people. There was a lot of blank negative space which could be filled with colourful content. The coloured stripes at the top are straight when if they are flowing it could connote non-linearity and as if to connote the fact that time is free flowing and is yours to design in how you like. I intend to change the title to a more hip and appropriate for a younger audience font. The straight coloured lines will flow down the page like time passes all around us. The negative space at the side will be filled with different coloured leaves just to mix it up and look pretty. My colours will range from blues to purples to reds! No colour shall be left out (Except green maybe, it just doesn't look all that great). I believe the title of the layout I will use is called advanced grid placement. Logo needed a tune up so I redesigned it and made it look gorgeous! Lots of pink and lots of purple. I figured the plain gold star thing with EN written in the middle in white was a little dry and what I was going for was a little more courageous. Videos will be very rare, I will only have the exploring EN video on there however it will be accompanied by images of happy people at EN enjoying there college life which should entice people to come to our college! The reason I do not want too many videos is because you have to sit and watch videos which take more time than just having a glance at some photos. Not many people would sit through a bunch of five minute long videos, where as most people will look at half a dozen images! Putting loads of images in a collage will be even better because people register it as a single image where as it is actually a large group of images and if it makes up a picture that would connote creativity and ingenious imagination. The theme I suppose could be considered as LGBT, because the colours I would use are all representative of the LGBT.
     My true hope is too create a more interesting website for the college which is different and less plain and more outside of the box. My website idea in my head treats the box like a baseball and bats that ball out of the ballpark in a hope to entice more people my age to come to ENSFC purely because it is an amazing college...
